Visa Recruitment fraud happens a lot to people trying to go to other countries to live and work. Â One of the biggest targets are people from developing countries like: Indians, Bangladeshi, and overseas filipino workers. Â I personally witness one filipina in Kuwait scamming other filipinas promising to get them jobs there. Â She was already in with Kuwait Fisheries (Mylene Noval – ladymai2012@yahoo.com) so what she did was promise others she could get them a job. Â She took an upfront fee to start their process. Â But then she ended up just taking their money and avoiding them. Â She did this to MANY people there.
You need to check the legitimacy of the company behind the work visa recruitment. Â If it is just one individual making promises DO NOT do it. Â You are risking your hard earned money.
Filipinos can check with agencies like Philippine Overseas Employment Association, POEA.
