It appears as though Microsoft has a backdoor in Windows that can allow Microsoft to download and execute code on your machine. This article alleges that even with the “Automatic Updates” setting set to Download/Ask, Microsoft has flagged this patch to install/reboot without asking for permission. To quote Mr. Horse “No Sir, I don't like it!”
